Edward Spitzlberger was recently appointed executive director at
Life Care Center of Littleton, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation
"Ed brings many fine qualities and skills to his position," said
Patrick Raab, vice president for Life Care's Rocky Mountain Region.
"He has a passion for caring for the elderly as well as a great
business background which will help Littleton to grow and prosper
for years to come."
"This is a great building - we have a lot of staff longevity here,"
said Spitzlberger, who most recently served as the facility's
executive director in training.
Before entering the long-term care field, Spitzlberger ran his own
businesses in technology. Among his achievements is building a real
estate social network while with his company Smart Zone USA.
"I wanted to transform from doing projects to doing something that
has real impact," Spitzlberger explained about his career
A Denver native Spitzlberger earned his master's degree in health
administration and his bachelor's degree in business with a
marketing emphasis. He currently resides in Littleton with his
wife, Sue, and their seven children.
Life Care Center of Littleton, located at 1500 W. Mineral Ave., is
one of 21 skilled nursing and rehab facilities in Colorado operated
or managed by Life Care Centers of America.
