Spitzlberger named director of Life Care Center

Posted

Edward Spitzlberger was recently appointed executive director at Life Care Center of Littleton, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.

"Ed brings many fine qualities and skills to his position," said Patrick Raab, vice president for Life Care's Rocky Mountain Region. "He has a passion for caring for the elderly as well as a great business background which will help Littleton to grow and prosper for years to come."

"This is a great building - we have a lot of staff longevity here," said Spitzlberger, who most recently served as the facility's executive director in training.

Before entering the long-term care field, Spitzlberger ran his own businesses in technology. Among his achievements is building a real estate social network while with his company Smart Zone USA.

"I wanted to transform from doing projects to doing something that has real impact," Spitzlberger explained about his career change.

A Denver native Spitzlberger earned his master's degree in health administration and his bachelor's degree in business with a marketing emphasis. He currently resides in Littleton with his wife, Sue, and their seven children.

Life Care Center of Littleton, located at 1500 W. Mineral Ave., is one of 21 skilled nursing and rehab facilities in Colorado operated or managed by Life Care Centers of America.
