U.S. Bank will relocate its branch at 7560 S. Pierce St. in Littleton, Colo., to its new location approximately one mile away at the Coal Mine Shopping Center in Littleton.

The U.S. Bank branch on Pierce St. will close at noon on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011. The new U.S. Bank branch, located at 6766 West Coal Mine Ave., will open at 9 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, 2011. A grand opening celebration with a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at

9:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9. Representatives of U.S. Bank and the Littleton civic community will cut a ribbon. James Faughn is the branch manager.

"The U.S. Bank team is excited to serve customers at this new branch, and will kick off the ‘Give with US' program," said Hassan Salem, president of U.S. Bank in Denver. "Donated new toys will be given to the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, and when a donation is made, customers may be eligible for a $10 Toys"R"Us gift card. We will also have a register-to-win drawing, where one winner will win $500 in cash and a $500 donation to the charity of their choice." Toy donations will be accepted during branch hours through Dec. 19. Gift cards will be provided while supplies last.

The winner of the $500 in cash will be announced during a live radio remote at the branch Saturday, Dec. 17, from 10 a.m. until noon. The broadcast will be on KWKL 105.1 FM. Free lunch will be served while supplies last.

During the grand opening on Dec. 9, there will be an inflatable bouncy play area for kids outside the branch from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. (weather permitting), and lunch will be catered by Roberts Deli from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. (while supplies last). Light refreshments and snacks will be served throughout the day. Prizes and giveaways including keychains, pens and more will be awarded (no purchase required; while supplies last).

Individuals who open any new package checking account with direct deposit will receive $100. See branch for requirements. In addition, there will be a home equity line of credit and an auto loan special. See branch for rates and other information.

U.S. Bank customers who do their banking at the South Pierce St. location do not need to do anything with their accounts. "Customer accounts will stay the same, and they will see the same tellers and staff when they go to do their banking at Coal Mine Shopping Center," said Salem. "U.S. Bank has been proudly serving the Littleton community with local employees for 29 years."
